Maria started to give massages when she was 11 years old in the Czech Republic and it became only natural for her to pursue her passion professionally later in life! After university studies in Human Arts, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, and Art history, she gained her highest massage qualification as a Massage Therapist at the Medical Practitioner Level, and has also done extensive studies in Kinesiology and complimentary therapies.

These themes continue to be a central part of her life, and her interest in the arts, theatre, and her love of Shakespeare have brought her to London to pursue both her artistic and therapeutic dreams!

Maria’s commitment as a Massage Therapist has led her to treat a wide and unique variety of patients and physical conditions. Her massage therapist career has included treating Pilots & Parachutists in the Czech/ Slovak Air Forces, in a hospital treating elderly in-patients in the cardiology department, in a Physiotherapy Practice treating the physical and psycho-somatic aspects of back problems along with having worked with world class professional dancers.

In London, Maria has polished her massage therapy skills even more, gaining experience in an urban spa and in leading holistic health centres. She has treated many pregnant women, has received glowing recommendations from clients in each centre and is now performing her fabulous massages here at The Happiness Centre in Shepherds Bush, West London.
