Mounir is a qualified homeopath and holistic medicine practitioner with a broad international clientele. He has many years experience as a nutrition and health and well being advisor and has worked on counselling, health and aid projects around the world for 20 years.

Mounir has practised from the centre for the past 10 years and continues to be available at The Happiness Centre Monday and Tuesday, 9.00am to 6.00pm.

Mounir treats a wide range of issues affecting physical and emotional health. Specialities include couples, fertility, withdrawing from prescribed and recreational drugs and depression as well as many of the more common ailments such as allergies, skin problems, eczema, asthma, IBS, migraine, hormonal imbalances and others.

"My first appointment with Mounir was almost six years ago. I had suffered since puberty from extremely heavy painful periods, migraines, acne and extreme mood swings. I felt I was not in control of my emotions. I was being checked at hospital for polycystic ovaries and had suspected endometriosis. I had got very frustrated with doctors over the years who could not diagnose me. Their suggestions were always to take the contraceptive pill to balance my hormones (they made me worse) and then it was suggested I try out tranexamic acid with potentially nasty side effects.

The results were incredible and I can honestly say, life-changing.

If my experience was not incredible enough, Mounir then helped my partner with his condition - Ulcerative Colitis. We had been told by a gastroenterology department (after a colonoscopy) that the colitis was severe and would therefore require steroids followed by major surgery.

The prognosis was incredibly scary. My partner then started seeing Mounir. After 6 months of homeopathic treatment he had another colonoscopy and was told by incredulous hospital staff that the colitis had gone into remission. This fantastic news was not the norm in the hospital! Now 4 years later, thanks to Mounir, we know how to keep the disease at bay and it is under control. For this I am especially grateful.
